Joining the Bandwagon: #AlDub craze

Recently, there’s a love team that hits the heart of Filipinos like storm, AlDub which is short for Alden and Yaya Dub. If you’re from the Philippines I’m sure you know what and who I’m talking about. Truth be told, I barely watch TV and I can’t say that I’m a huge fan of Kapuso. I don’t even know about AlDub, well not until my friend keeps on talking and goes gaga about them. I became curious which led me to youtube and watch their past episodes and I even stalk Maine and Alden on Instagram. So yeah, you know the result; I gave in and joined the bandwagon. I became a fan of AlDub!

3 REASONS WHY I'M IN LOVE WITH ALDUB:

1. The Chemistry.


The AlDub was discovered accidentally by the fans and Eat Bulaga stars when they showed Alden watching the Kalye Serye and Maine or Yaya Dub being shy about it. From there on they became a love team. It’s not just because Maine is so pretty (hello new girl crush!) and Alden is so handsome that they’d make a good pair, they indeed have genuine chemistry. I am not a huge fan of local stars and love teams but aside from JaDines, AlDub just caught my heart. Their chemistry is surreal and strong that every time I watch them I get kilig and all.

2. They’re funny.


Unlike other love teams, they’re not ashamed of showing their funny and kalog side in exchanging dubsmash videos.  They’re not the pretentious type and corny, they really are funny especially Maine who’s funnier when making funny faces, she truly has a gift in making people laugh.

    Haha wow! The phenomenon is on! I'm not a fan because I usually don't watch tv aside from news, but I agree that Maine is funny has a genuine personality. She's really pretty, too! :)

    I'm not a fan of the whole phenomena but I really like Maine a lot! She writes well din but her blog is always down nowadays :(

    Haha I was actually watching the Juan for all, all for Juan series because of Yaya Dub, coincidentally, that was the time they discovered the Alden-Yaya Dub love team and from then on, I've followed the series although I admit sometimes, I've gone tired because it's becoming more and more obvious that it's scripted but yes, it never fails to make me laugh though. :)))

      Yeah. I used to be an avid fan pero ngayon kasi it seems like it's too scripted na and obvious talaga. But I love Maine, she's really pretty!

    The AlDub love team is so unique. Probably that's the reason why they stand out. I'm not a fan but I find them cute because they look comfortable with each other. :)

    I'm not a super fan but I watch them everyday and they make me laugh so I guess, that's enough for me to say that it's not bad at all! Plus, Maine's personality is very like-able. I can't find anything I don't like about her ! ;)
