Anion pads for easy breezy red days
Monday, December 04, 2017Because of watching too much Dodo and Unilad videos and because of my love for animals, lately I've been very very picky with the food I eat and the products I use - cruelty free and Halal as much as possible. Yes, that includes detergent powders, feminine wash, and of course sanitary napkins.
Recently, I tried Jeunesse anion sanitary pads because it's Halal and I believe is cruelty free. Also, I was really curious and was thinking why the hell does sanitary napkins have anions? So I want to share with you my experience of using it but before that, let's learn what anion is as if this is a science class. Hahaha.
"An ion is a molecule or an atom wherein the total number of electrons is
not equal to the total number of protons, giving them either a net
positive or a net negative charge."
Basically, there should be an equilibrium of positive and negative ions in our body, our health is doomed!
Benefits of Anions in sanitary napkins:
- Balance PH and hormone levels
- Protect against germs in the air
- Reduce inflammation
- Fights against vaginal irritations and infections
- Eliminate unwanted odor
What I like about it:
- I really love the packaging. It's secure and is an easy open pack.
- It's very thin and comfortable to wear as if you're not wearing any napkins at all.
- I'm very sensitive with napkins and i'm really surprised that I don't feel itchy at all even if i'm wearing the whole day.
- It doesn't irritate me.
- It absorbs well! I feel fresh and dry all day. The 7 layers that it claims are true!
- It really eliminates odor. It really does!
- I really love it but sometimes it frustrates me when it falls off and doesn't stick well on my undies. So I usually have another extra one in my bag to change when this happens.
Have you tried Jeunesse Anion Pads? What are your thoughts? :)
