BITS & PIECES: MY ABSENCE
Sunday, April 19, 2015
I never thought that I've been MIA for a couple of weeks now and being away from my humble blog that long is quite surprising. Alas, my failure to update isn't a proof that I've completely fallen out of love with blogging and writing. In fact, a lot of times I found myself in front of my laptop on an attempt to write what I have in mind but I don't know where to start nor how to begin.
Despite from being busy with adulthood and the realities of life, our family is going through an extreme downfall. In just a month, we lost 2 men who are dearly close to my heart; my cousin who is more of a brother to me for we've been close since we had diapers on and my grandpa who is one of the most caring men I know. The thought that i'm never gonna see them and hug them both again is the most painful part. But that's life, at one point or another we're going to deal with loss. They're in God's arms now and their memories will be in our hearts forever. I wouldn't go into details because I wouldn't want to spread sadness, this is after all my happy place. I just want you to know the story behind my absence.
Moving on...
Well... I'd like to say i'm finally back! Again. :) I have multitudes of ideas and things I want to do - travels, new blog series, photography, going back to a healthy lifestyle, etc - and I will do my very best to ease my way back. I can't wait to share it with you guys! I'm still in dire need of tremendous amount of motivation and inspiration, but I am taking baby steps... For now this is Hello! <3

DeleteAlthough losing loved ones is a heartbreaking, it is comforting to know that they will be fine and away from this cruel world and are watching over us. :) Feel better, Joyce. Hoping you find your motivation so we get to read your adventures. :)

Thanks, mi. I'm a bit okay... But when it comes to my cousin, not yet, he's too young. :(
DeleteAnyway, I miss blogging and visiting other blogs. Thanks for the warm welcome mi. <3
Joyce! ♥︎ I'm also back from being on a hiatus for a very long time (almost a month) because I was so depressed and pressured, especially when it comes to family matters and looking for a job. Haha. I'm also still moving on from my breakup and having a lot on my plate made me lose my motivation. I can relate to you being MIA for a very long time due to all the stuff we have dealt with. I'm so sorry for your loss and I hope you're okay now. :( I know how much it hurts to lose someone who's very dear to you. I'm still not okay but I just have to be okay one step at a time, I guess. I'm looking forward to reading more of your posts. xx

Hi Rox! That's okay, take as much break as you need and stand up to face another day. It's okay to weep once in a while. It'll make you stronger than you've ever been. Yes just take one step at a time, do things that make you happy and would make you relax like reading a book or go watch a movie. I hope everything goes well with you! Welcome back, ROx. xoxo
