1. What am I working on? 

I run a personal and lifestyle blog. I post anything under the sun: my thoughts, bits and pieces of my life, modest fashion, books, travels, etc. I do my best to put a personal touch in every post I write and just having fun with it. To be honest, I’m not really a good writer. For someone whose English is not the medium language, I sometimes struggle with vocabulary or what words to use. Alas, I do my best to learn and I believe I am better. Better than I used to write. :)

2. How does my work differ from others of its type/genre? 

I really don’t have a specific niche or genre, I just write anything that fancies me or whatever that goes through my mind. Also, I wear hijab and I sometimes post about modest fashion. But most of the time I write personal stuffs and there are times that I get too personal, I just pour it all out. I think there are only few (very few) hijabi bloggers who run a personal/lifestyle blog especially here in the Philippines, cos most of them are fashion bloggers. So I guess that differs me from others.

3. Why do you write what you do? 

Simply because it makes me happy! And it makes me get better in writing. I started blogging because I had the need to pour out my frustrations in life somewhere, it was all about rants. But as time goes by, I learned that there’s more to blogging. Then I began posting everything that makes me happy or just the mundane things, and guess what? It helps me in seeing the beauty in life and keeping the good vibes coming. Blogging just makes me sane and I consider it my happy place. :)

4. How does my writing process work?

Every time blog ideas pop up in my mind, I write it in my planner slash journal. It is also where I write my thoughts and feelings. But most of the time, I am in front of my laptop and type whatever fancies me.
