Going to Vigan has always been my dream! But now it is no longer a dream, but a reality. If you’re wondering why Vigan? Well, I always fancy vintage, something old and valuable. I see to it when I visit every place, I venture to its iconic historical landmarks.
Vigan - It’s a lifelong dream venturing in the walls of this place. I’m mesmerized and amazed of how beautiful this place is. Walking in the street of Crisologo is as if I entered a different dimension or time traveled. It brought me back in the Spanish era.
Everything is picturesque! Even the old chipped bricks, vendors sitting beside their stores, horses taking a break on the side of the street or the vines crawling in the walls are all very instagramable.
I found a lot of antique shops in this place, it’s filled with old furniture, jars, statues, old books, letters, and old postal stamps. I wanted to buy something, but I went out empty handed. Imagine the regret I felt afterwards... It's heartbreaking!
A man driving a kalesa persuade my brother and I to ride his kalesa. We hesitated, but then agreed cos why not! And there were no regrets, he's very knowledgeable, practically genius I must say, telling us stories about this and that building, houses, and establishments. Take note: with specific complete dates. I believe the people I met are the highlight of of my travels.
I don’t now how to end this post, i’m not good in conclusions either. But i’ll leave you with what Dr. Seuss said “Oh! the places you’ll go.”

We also toured other churches in Ilocos and they were all majestic especially paoay church! And i think the rain made it more beautiful <3 i bought some keychains and a bag if i remember correctly when we were there. Locals are very kind too, and as I'm half ilocana I had fun talking to them in Ilocano :D
